Tempura Asakusa SAKURA is operated by Exvalue Inc. (株式会社エクスバリュー) (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use SAKURA Tempura Challenge.
1. Information We Collect
When you use the service, we may collect the following information:
- Game participation, scores, results, and performance data
- Challenge and game session information
- Survey responses, question/version information, display order, and response timing
- Country or region selected for World Map participation
- Store, table, or campaign information included in the QR code or access URL
- Technical information necessary to operate the service, such as app version, locale, timezone, and screen/viewport information
We may also use browser local storage to remember:
- whether this browser has previously completed an in-store Challenge
- your analytics consent preference
2. Google Analytics
If you allow usage analytics, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC.
Google Analytics may collect information such as:
- pages and app steps viewed
- interactions with games and screens
- browser, device, and operating system information
- traffic source
- approximate location
- cookies or similar identifiers used by Google Analytics
Your Survey answers are not sent to Google Analytics.
You can refuse analytics and still use all game features. You can also change your analytics preference later through Analytics Settings.
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- operate and maintain the service
- save and recover game and Survey progress where necessary
- prevent duplicate submissions or participation
- analyze game performance and Survey results
- evaluate response quality
- improve usability and the guest experience
- understand how guests discover and use the service
- improve our restaurant services and support future business planning
- display aggregated World Map participation
4. Survey Data
Survey responses are stored in our own database and may be analyzed together with information such as the question shown, its version, presentation order, and response timing.
Response timing may be used to evaluate whether a response is suitable for statistical analysis.
We do not intentionally send raw Survey answers to Google Analytics.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data.
Information may be processed by service providers necessary to operate this service, including hosting providers and Google Analytics when analytics consent is granted.
6. Data Retention
Google Analytics event data is configured to be retained for up to 14 months, subject to Google Analytics settings and policies.
Other application and Survey data is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for service operation, analysis, and business purposes, and may later be deleted or anonymized when no longer required.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect stored information from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure.
8. Your Choices
You may:
- use the service without allowing Google Analytics
- change your analytics preference through Analytics Settings
- clear browser local storage through your browser settings
Clearing browser storage may cause the service to treat your browser as a first-time visitor again.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, data practices, or applicable requirements change.
